DISPUTED WILLS & ESTATES
We have extensive experience with disputed wills and disputed estates.
The loss of a family member or close friend is a difficult time. Unfortunately, from time to time disputes arise in relation to the validity of a will or the division of an estate.
Allegations can be made that a will maker lacked capacity to make a will, did not understand the contents of their will or was influenced by someone to make a will on particular terms.
Furthermore, estates can also be disputed on the basis that the will maker failed to make adequate provision for certain family members.
If you are involved in an estate dispute, we can assist you with:
- Making a claim for provision out of an estate if you are dissatisfied with your current entitlement (i.e contesting a will or estate)
- Defending an estate claim made by a disgruntled beneficiary or third party for provision from an estate in which you are a beneficiary, and

Karolina Rzymkowska (or Kay as she likes to be called) is a founding director of Luna Legal Group and is recognised as one of Perth’s leading Wills and Estates and Estate Litigation Lawyers.
Kay has practised in the area of Wills, Estates and Commercial Law for over 18 years and has assisted thousands of clients with all aspects of their personal & business succession planning, estate dispute matters, deceased estate administration and commercial advice and documentation.
Prior to founding Luna Legal Group, Kay held equity and management roles in several well-known boutique law firms as well as the legal division in a large financial institution. Kay is a regular presenter at various industry body groups including Legalwise and the Tax Institute of Australia, where she educates other lawyers and accountants in the areas of wills and estates. When it comes to clients, Kay is known for her warm and caring approach and her collaborative and pragmatic resolution of legal issues. Kay has an ability to communicate complex legal issues in simple understandable terms, ensuring that you don’t feel overwhelmed by legal jargon.
